Reading a +268 number

• •Mobile if the digits after +268 start with 75–79 (+268 76XX XXXX).
• •Landlines start with an area code, for example +268 2217 XXXX for Hlathikulu, Shiselweni district.
• •Premium rate if it starts with 90 after +268: never call these back.
• •Local time: 8:03 PM in Mbabane right now.

• •Don't call back a number you don't recognize. One-ring scams hang up after a ring or two so you return the call, which can add a per-minute charge on top of an international rate.
• •Caller ID can be faked. The code shown is not proof of where the caller really is.
• •Real callers leave a message. If it matters, they'll text, email or leave a voicemail. Otherwise, block the number.
